Miljöservice belongs to the unique minority of companies that show strong growth in turnover, personnel and solvency and has therefore received the UC Nordic Growth Certificate.

The seal indicates that Miljöservice has distinguished itself as a growth company.
The certificate is based on the previous year’s financial statements, in which growth, profitability, financial strength, and number of employees are among the parameters measured and analyzed. Only 5% of Sweden’s companies qualify as growth companies each year. What they have in common is that they are stable, successful, and are gaining new market share.
The requirements to qualify for the UC Nordic Growth Certificate are very stringent. Only a minority of Sweden’s companies qualify each year. Miljöservice has grown by nearly 40 percent annually. The upcoming financial statements will show a doubling of revenue.

We would also like to take this opportunity to tell you that we now work with cradle to cradle and Ecolabel certified substances. The EU Ecolabel is one of the world’s leading eco-labels and a Type 1 label.

This means that it is independent, operates from a life-cycle perspective, and takes a holistic approach when developing criteria.

Being a Type 1 label means that the ecolabel is governed by the ISO 14024 standard and is based on

• Continuous improvement, i.e. requirements are continuously being tightened.
  
  
• Life cycle perspective, i.e. the entire environmental impact of the product.
  
  
• Transparency in the working processes for developing criteria. The scientific community, environmental organizations and industry are invited to comment and participate in the development of the criteria.
  
  
• The requirements are set by an independent third party. In the case of the EU Ecolabel, it is the European Union Ecolabelling Board (EUEB).
  
  
• EU Ecolabel criteria are usually developed by the EU’s Seville Joint Research Center on behalf of the European Commission. The Swedish government participates in the voting of new criteria. Ecolabelling Sweden is advisory when voting.
